Dans la famille des prénoms amérindiens, je voudrais la fille, “Waneta”. J’ai commencé “la série des prénoms amérindiens illustrés” avec ce prénom “Avanaco” que j’ai illustré pour l’affiche de l’exposition : “Qui miel me suive”. Je voudrais continuer à développer cette idée et enrichir cette série au fur et a mesure des expositions.

“Waneta” est un prénom d’origine nord amérindienne qui peut être masculin ou féminin et qui signifie “destrier”, c’est-à-dire cheval de bataille. Voila pour le thème du tableau.

In the family of Amerindian first names, I would like the daughter, “Waneta”. I started “the series of Amerindian first names” illustrated with this first name “Avanaco” which I illustrated for the poster of the exhibition: “Qui miel me suive”. I would like to continue to develop this idea and enrich this series as the exhibitions go on.

“Waneta” is a name of North Amerindian origin which can be masculine or feminine and which means “steed”, that is to say battle horse. So much for the theme of the painting.

Je réalise des fonds à l’acrylique, donnant déjà un aperçu des valeurs et de la gamme des couleurs. Le but est de recouvrir le blanc de la toile mais également de préparer le travail à l’huile. Je travail à la brosse grossièrement et rapidement. Rien est définitif..

Je commence le travail a la peinture à l’huile. Je peins le ciel avec de l’essence de térébenthine et je trace directement les arbres et les feuillages lointains dans la peinture fraiche.
